Cons: Incredibly repetitive to the point at which you begin to question whether or not you are doing something wrong and the survey won't end because you are just prolonging it over and over again. Highly Underpaid.

I quit doing these because I would start it, work about 20 mins with all the repetitive questions and then it would hang, keeping me from completing it and getting a code. YMMV.

People instinctively do a lot of less than logical things when it comes to risk (which is what all these studies are testing.)

I normally don't do the smartphone HIT's because most of the time they end up being underpaid. By the time you figure out how to get them open on the phone, have to enter in URL addresses manually and then type in your MTurk ID. etc., you have already lost a bunch of time. I went ahead and finished this one up just so I wouldn't get locked out on Endor, but this one was particularly bad.

there was only one smartphone HIT I thought was sweet. I accepted it on the PC, it gave me a QR code to scan with my smartphone, I did that and got right to the survey, it was about 10 questions, then gave me a short code that was easy to type into the PC screen for the completion code and done. I wish other smartphone HIT survey requesters would learn from this one how to do it.
