I don't know when I should tell my son the truth about Santa (he's 8 1/2). I think he could handle it but then he might ruin it for his younger sister (she just turned 6). Kind of wish I would have told them both the truth right away so they know why we are so broke for the months of November and December (and sometimes January)!

I think my 10 year old bonus son found out last year or the year before, we tried to say the ones in the mall were Santa's helpers because Santa is busy (they asked why there was so many, we were going to different malls to get pictures done). I don't think he or his brother who is 8 believes anymore but I dont think they have really tried to ruin it for their sister who is 6.
