Not sure exactly which ones you're talking about but some HITs sit on the marketplace broken for up to and over a year.
YEP. That's exactly who I'm talking about. Those Noah HITs. Also the hieroglyphic ones never load either.
Check the creation dates on them. If they are like from several months to a year ago, they are probably broken. There are a few requesters that will just let their busted HITs sit until they expire. Frustrating, but part of turking is getting excited about finding work and then realizing you can't do it.
Amen. Especially because I'm still in the probation period. I can't do anything but trash work right now and then to have some of the few I'm qualified for be broken? How disappointing lol
Noah regularly puts out work (that may or may not be broken) and actually pays halfway decent if you are just starting out. Put him on a watcher so when he posts new stuff you can try to grab it.

its not my first time though, it gets better. my first time through probation i was only making a few bucks a day.

yeah, i used to use firefox before i started turking. I switched to Chrome to make life easier.
There are certain HITs that requesters make work on chrome only, but they will usually state that in the HIT window before you start on the HIT. As far as I know everything is the same. I used to use Firefox, but switched over to Chrome while some turking tools were being developed that were only available on Chrome. I just never really switched back to Firefox.
guess I'll have to begrudgingly make the switch lol. I hate to have to transfer all this stuff over x.x
I have turking tools on here now (saw where they used to only work on Chrome) but it just seems like some of the tasks won't load.
what isn't working? i find chrome is usually better for turking, but sometimes i'll use firefox for hits that randomly work better there
Like the hieroglyphics task that gets posted everyday. I've tried multiple times but the boxes of text won't load. There have also been a few others but that is the main one I can think of right now
