future poll: real xmas tree or artificial?

clearly artificial! $25 for a 6' artificial tree that is going up for its 8th year at Thanksgiving. If I bought cut trees every year, I probably would have spent at least $400 by now in the same time frame as my artificial tree.

Artificial is also less of a fire hazard. Don't you hate having to monitor a cut tree like a fireman watching for it to become too dry and then cutting off another sliver of the trunk to get some fresh wood to soak up the water you are always pouring into the base bowl?

Awesome! I didn't get much work done today, unfortunately (it seems I slept through most of the stuff that I would have been willing to work on), so I just spent the day trying to learn about MySQL and databases and stuff, which is kinda cool I guess. Not an awful day by any means.

They're a confection- and were one of the original candies. We've just gone fucking nuts with them in modern-day and have added them to more candies.

I need to quit attempting to turk so much and work on learning HTML5 (I already know HTML 1990's style, for my own website that needs a big time update and conversion to become mobile friendly), Javascript and probably Python so I can see if there are any opportunities for me to build other people's fancy websites or do smartphone or smart device apps in the future.
