homework, homework, homework. Know what you want before you go to the dealership (year, make, model, pricing), get your credit union financing preapproved to smooth the financing process. In 2016 I went into a Toyota dealership for a new Carolla and walked out about 2 hours later with one because I knew what I wanted, the color I wanted, how much I was going to pay (since it was listed on the dealer's website) and my credit union gave me my maximum approved financing amount figure. The biggest wait time in those 2 hours was the trade-in value negotiation but once that was set, the paperwork flowed and I had my car.Hello @mboone73 , sorry for not responding last night. I'm doing pretty good, but dealing with the headache of purchasing a new car. The dealership salesmen are very annoying to deal with.
