My daughter won a stuffed toy out of a claw machine when she was four.

there's one at my local walmart that's only rubber ducks and you can try as many times as it takes you to win one. once it took my 6 times but I only had to pay the original dollar. My son loves rubber ducks lol

i won this rinky dink little stuffed animal as a kid

so technically i have won something from a claw game

but like @C to the J said it mostly depends on how strong the claw is
because 99.8% of them are flimsy
and actually designed to make you lose

Yea they have switches inside the machine that the owner can change to make the game between fair and impossible.

I won a plushie snowman at a laundromat claw machine. I still have it today and it's pretty much the only thing I take out for the holidays. I think it ended up being like 6-8 dollars worth of quarters, but that's probably what it would've cost at a market

Also, when I was three and my sister was five, we were playing a claw machine at the Pizza Pub and kept losing, so one of the employees opened the machine and let us each pick out a toy. I know that's not the same as winning, I just think it's weird that I remember something that happened 32 years ago.
