hello! welcome to mtc!Fitbit crew
To those guys who are struggling to lose weight you should get your total and free testosterone checked, especially if you are older than 30. Mines been low for a few years but i finally went ahead and got TRT, I feel fantastic, losing weight and putting on muscle. I'm also on keto atm. Works okay for me but counting calories with my fitness pal or fitbit app works better for me personally
Also first post new member here, hello all
Yeah the keto flu stinks lmao. Be strong and push through it, I know it can be hard. Are you a regular keto user? I remember the first time I ran keto I had flu symptoms for almost a week and a half where I felt run down. Each successive time since has been shorter, now it only lasts a few days. Back about 10 years ago I was put on an anti depressant from my PCP and put on 60 lbs in two months, felt and looked horrible. Since then I've lost a lot, gained some, lost it again and just recently been gaining again cause I've been eating a ton while working out. Once I got my testosterone levels back on track it seems a lot easier. Although I'm more hungry, a lot more seems to go to muscle instead of just my love handles lol.Day four of keto, feel pretty alright. No cravings, not even eating that often. I've made some really good meals. I was really sick on Tuesday with the keto flu... migraine, sick to my stomach exhausted.
english brekkie tea with vanilla truvia in the mornings.... if I eat anything at breakfast it's a cheese stick...
I'm hoping I can stick with this for a few weeks. I already feel less bloated from all the peeing
This is my third round. I did my first round in January, lost 15 pounds in a month, got really sick (unrelated mostly) brochitis twice and flu once. gained everything back and then some. was super busy all summer and tried it for a week in july, had massive stomach issues, gave up.Yeah the keto flu stinks lmao. I'm starting to cut down again currently after adding about 40 lbs total, much of it muscle I believe. Bodyfat didn't increase too awful much even tho I went from 160 to 203 haha. I'm down about 17 lbs in the past month and a half though, I think I should look really good around 170 now.
I had a thyroid issue where my tsh was around 8.5 where it's supposed to be below 4. My endo tried levothyroxine but it didn't do too much and after that is when I got TRT. Once I got that my thyroid level went back to 1.1 which is really good. Testosterone and thyroid function go hand in hand so if one is wrong the other will be too. Just gotta figure out which one is causing the problems.
Keep up with the keto, ur doing great
