not a gamer, plus i would have to give up cooking, lego building, modeling, woodworking, electronics repair and kits, etc.
My cat stays away from my desktop (for the most part...) but I have left the room to like get coffee or something, and come back to her laying on my keyboard like "What? It's warm!" and totally AGAHST that I'm upset about it. Sooo... idk.Serious question about you turkers with kitties..
So now that I have a monitor connected to my laptop, I'm considering an actual desk when I can afford it. I've been putting my laptop away at night when I'm finished turking, but after one time of having to disconnect and put the monitor away, I'm realizing how tedious this is going to end up being in order to protect it.
Do you guys have well behaved cats that don't smash your things?
Or do you put everything away in closets at the end of the day?
No problem here except for the printer. Cat destroyed one and I have to remember after I use it to put the trays back in their slots or Mr. Cassius will attempt to walk on them to see if he can - or if he can break it. Makes sense if you like to play games. Also, why wouldn't you want fried chicken sandwiches for hands? This has a lot of good what-ifs.
Because I would eat my hands and I wouldn't have any hands after that. I wouldn't have nothing but ugly chicken bones for hands the rest of my life.

If I get one with the slide out tray, that may work for hiding the closed laptop, I guess my main concern is them knocking the monitor to the floor because they want to lay on the new desk. They're going on 11 years old, so they certainly do whatever they want. I think it may just have to be okay because this dining table set up is feeling ridiculous at this point. lol
