YES! yes let the hydroponics take over! You can use sunlight or have the jars next to your Aerogardens for their light. I have mine in a fishtank with a cheap LED grow light b/c my cat wants to eat everything that is green. And there's no dirt. Dirt is so last century.

I feel so inspired right now! lol I've never thought about using a fish tank either. That's super smart! Totally reading through that site you linked later, too. I agree....dirt is a serious pain. I've used those big potato grow bags for potatoes and carrots and I think I paid maybe $10 at the most for the 3-pack I have. They work great, but so damn messy.
