Well that's a complicated question.

It's more of a thing about making more money over time.
You're not just going to wake up and make more the day you're over 5,000.

But there will come a time you make a shitload of money on some like $30/hr batch that has the 5,000 approved qual on it.

A few will. Google used to post tons of HITs that needed 5k but those days are gone. Better to look for Qual HITs to get better paying work. And congrats!

when I got 5K and 10K approved, I really didn't notice much of a change. Big thing is to keep approval over 99%

I did it yesterday and I had "is this story more than 5 words" which I also felt was random, so I have to just assume it's their attention check. Mine got approved.

Okay great. Because the stories are very clearly not Greek fairy tales or fairy tales of any sort so I was super confused.
