Do you usually hit goal @aveline ? :O

Out of curiosity, how many days/week do you usually hit your goal?
I set my minimum goal much lower so I don't get upset when I wind up at $70 and didnt hit that 80-90 mark

I haven't been hitting goal much at all this month, but I've also barely been able to work because I've had a million appointments all month. January has also always been my slowest month of the year, so while I still at least try for goals, I don't stress too much about not meeting them. But for most of the year, I would say I don't have too much trouble averaging about that. I might not hit that amount every day, but most weeks have at least 1 or 2 great days where I can make up however much I'm behind.

This is my issue (that and only being 2 months into it). I need more qualifications!

That HIT Approval % will be the best qual you can maintain and (mostly) control.
It feels rare these days that any good closed qualifiers will be put out, and truth be told I don't have many myself, but always be on the lookout

I joined on December 2nd and I've gotten 787 approved HITs and make about $20 each day. I treat mturk like a 5 day job and basically keep the computer open all day until I hit my goal of 30 HITs for the day. For me it's been easier to set a goal of how many HITs I do rather than a monetary goal because the amount of good paying work is so unpredictable every day, but so far it's been pretty consistent with $20 a day (not including the holidays, those weeks SUCKED) and I agree this community is amazing and I keep the forum in an open tab every day ?

I still have a "this is what I need" and "this is what I want" goals within that weekly goal. But now if I only make $36 in a day and HITS dried up, I don't obsess over the $4 or $14 and give myself permission to walk out of my office. I put a lot of pressure on myself.

This is how I try to approach it too. I write out a budget at the start of each month, so I know about what I'm going to need for that month, then I base my weekly and daily goals on that. They're just sorta guides to help me get to where I need rather than like strict daily or weekly requirements.
