You guys can make $75 in a day?!
Main thing is there are certain periods during the day where surveys and other things are coming in like hot cakes. Usually mid morning-mid afternoon. If you can keep up a 99% approval rating and get to 500 and then 1000 approved HITs, you'll be able to qualify for a large majority of the surveys. A lot of the higher paying ones have low bars to qualify even (like 50 approved HITs, 90% approval rating or something). If you're on during those times and get into a good rhythm grinding through studies, you can get to $30 in 2-3 hours pretty consistently. People with more quals, approved HITs, and work closer to full work days on here get $75+ pretty regularly.

This just solidifies the fact that I need to continue doing this. My friends thought I was weird getting into this because the pay seems so low but now I'm bringing in decent side money (for me at least) so HA.

I've been doing a lot of the rate dating profiles because they're instantly approved and I'm trying to bump my approved HITS. I want to hit 1000.

I would say you kinda have to be on call almost 24/7. I keep HIT Finder running all day and night with a long list of includes with specific and general search terms, and I get those alerts pushed to my phone. I also have friends that will alert me to stuff that I might have missed, and it's not uncommon for me at all to have to wake up at 3-4 am to work on stuff.

I think one of the biggest drawbacks of trying to make a living on this platform is the feeling that you always have to be tethered to your computer so you don't miss anything, but I just figure it's sorta the price you pay for independence.

This is the part I dislike the most. I have a lot of freedom to do whatever and I often get to watch a show or read a book or write or something instead of being "at work," but I'm constantly pausing that show cause I caught a HIT or my include list alarm went off. I feel like whenever I leave the computer whether to see my girlfriend or go to the gym it's dollar signs forfeited which may not always be the healthiest way to look at it
