Note that this is after I finished the survey and submitted it. Since I have only 7 rejections out of 25,000 hits, I will not risk sending this one in. I just wanted you to know, this bad form. If you keep up this behavior, I'm afraid you will become well known for it.

they are extremely popular. Both of our workplaces use fitbits to track our fitness and give us insurance discounts. I also get a boatload of longitudinal studies for uploading Fitbit data...nice chunk of change for something I already do

that study is still in my prolific screen and i don't even own a fitbit.

i get the impression people have moved to apple watch or other similar smart watches.

If you sent a message via turkerview, it will say something about an error (I can't remember the exact wording) but it still goes through, and the requester will get your message. I agree, don't submit it. It really does sound like a sneaky attention check, probably at the very last page, was missed. It happened to me.

I just got my last dollar for a semi-respectable day from all online sources and I too am calling it a day and off to read a story set during the 1918 Pandemic. Have I mentioned my grandmother was a nurse in Boston during that? Unlike many nurses, she did not travel to Europe to nurse as her father forbade her to so she ended up on the front lines at home. The stories she told me inspired a life-long interest in the 1918 Pandemic and for many years it was difficult to find any mention of it.
