All I do is self-employment, no w2s, and H&R block charged me almost $400

On the IRS site they have a page of tax software providers that will allow you to do your taxes online and efile them for free, as long as you make under 69,000 (more for couples). I did it with OLS online, and the software guided me through it. Got my refund 10 days later; you can check the progress of your return online, too.

New forms this year, too, so it won't be like last year. You can also itemize with this software, but you use the same form. No more 1040 EZ.

Extension called Simple Allow copy. I usually keep it turned off unless I think that the survey will need it. This extension interferes with PC.
