I went to a Dollar store today. I was the only customer. I only went to buy milk, but spent 49 dollars, the most I ever spent there. I bought a bunch of weird stuff I wouldn't normally buy, but it was fun. It was nice to just get out of the house!

Weird stuff?

I miss the jay leno 99c store skit where he'd show the weirdest junk he could find at the store, most of it ending up there because of manufacturer mess ups like the "dogs" item above where it is plastic horses but can't really be sold at full retail because of being labeled as dogs so it goes to 99c store to be blown out.

i'm amazed that store exists in california as i don't know how you can sell everything for 99c unless you are getting the mistakes essentially for the cost of transport when the store rent must be $1 million/month.
