Ours just opened back up recently. They are doing social distancing/face coverings and the like. I haven't been down there since they shut it down in March. I don't go out unless I am getting groceries or cat food. I miss going to the library, but I have plenty of stuff to read here at the house for a while.

Just learned that ours in Riverside are going to open on a "Express Service," today, as a matter of fact. I can do without the libs if I have to: I've got over 300 books in here, most of which I haven't read in 10 or 15 years, but, still, for contemporary info/issues ...

When The VIrus thing started, I looked and found that I had a copy of "The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History"

mixed. most branches open with different hours than pre-pandemic.

three branches closed due to being so small that social distancing would be hard to implement. you can still get things from those branches by reserving the material for pickup at a branch that is open.
