I am. My grandson is with his aunt now since the kids went back to school. I can't have him going bonkers while I am in meetings all day. I miss him horribly though. Rumor is they are going shut schools down again anytime so he will be back as soon as that happens.

This sounds like the way I grew up. I did go to public school, but my mother didn't think that was enough, not nearly. We looked at bugs, snakes, collected rocks, fossils, seeds and flowers, arrow heads, went shooting, drawing and painting, fishing and shell collecting, bird watching, photographing, music, games. We listened to old folks telling stories and read everything. Nothing was off limits for my mother. Nothing but poor courtesy and bigotry, lying and cheating and stealing. I always thought that she wasn't so much just teaching her only child, but showing me what she liked and was interested in doing. And she was curious about everything. When I learned to read music in school, she learned that from me. When she died, I held her hand.......Learning can always be found in books. Education is learned from others. And that kind of study is ALL THAT MATTERS.

As I recall this is how Darwin and other English aristocrats learned the good stuff...wandering around their spacious country estates. It is actually a very upper class thing. But why should they have all the fun?
