I've been throwing back underpaid hot garbage hits all day long. Ugh. 30 minutes for a quarter for this hit, 60 Minutes for 50 cents for that hit. No mention of bonuses either. Ugh. If we do such low paying hits then we'll never get better pay rates. I don't mind an extra few minutes on a few hits per day, but when the pay rate goes below $3/hr, we have to draw a line somewhere, right?

I'm going to take a break for my sanity, relax a bit, make some dinner, and then try to make a few bucks later.

I don't know. Mturk is slowing generally. I guess we'll see if it picks up when school is back in session. It will - of course, but the big question is how much it picks up

i contacted the requester but i doubt ill get an answer before i run out of time on the hit , Im wondering if i can refresh the page? or did i just waste my time and get no money now? lol


Edit: Refreshing page does nothing , just says the same thing, Guess i am out of the $5 for the study and the 3$ bonus it said i got.

I did that one yesterday, no problems. I have encountered similar problems with other hits, and waited to see if requester responded before time was out, then made a decision to return, submit with mturk ID and explanation, or refresh page. I usually end up refreshing page and taking my chances....

yeah i tried a refresh and nothing changed. keeping it up until the timer goes in case the requester emails me back , There is no option to submit the survey , just an option to click begin experiment that will change to "complete experiment" once the task is done , I was literally right at the end where it was asking you the questions etc. Already did the mining task part

LMAO!!!!!!!!!! well...... i just tried to do that , and it took me all the way back to the beginning showing me instructions for the mining task again.


Edit; when i clicked back it showed a loading bar for a minute or two then told me it will go to full screen when i click ok. and restarted the survey.. 15 minutes before i have to return it too
