oh, i do remember one thing... 'real' turkers use a bottle.

Real turkers dont'use a bottle, but replace the carpet every month or two when the significant other starts complaining about the smell. Bottles need to be used for homebrew to cut down on weekly alcohol expense.

I went the first 3 years without a rejection and had masters, so I was one of the few unicorns back then lol

I wouldn't worry about 12 rejections out of 45k hits, that's a great approval rating! I have 69 rejections out of almost 48k hits.

that is an excellent ratio. 3631 rejections here out of 873K

I used to request it once a week. Then I gave up, took a break from turking for a couple of months and suddenly got an e-mail from Amazon congratulating me on my Masters qualification. it kind of reminded me of that person I read about that got theirs while they were suspended. Crazy.

Keep on letting them know you want it, maybe they'll give in!

your rejection was caused by a bug in our system. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am going to approve your HIT. "

The rejections are still there, but should be reversed. Maybe everyone's will get reversed
I've done 15 since then and they have all been approved

some guy hit a million on reddit mturk like 6 years ago. I'm sure there some on here over a mil. Me, I'm hoping by the end of the year. Been turking seriously/not seriously since injury on FD in '06 or so

I regret to inform you that this rejection is caused by a bug that I accidentally introduced when updating the code for our system this morning. I am working to resolve this but it may take me a day or so to figure out what happened. I am just going to accept your HIT while I figure this out. Do you get rejected for all the new HITS or did it just happen for this one?

I have also moved, but didn't bother to try.

Sadly, I did not. According to MTurk I still live in California, even though I haven't lived there for several years.
