Anyone know if requestor Benjamin Russell. I got rejected on a HIT saying this Thanks for taking the study. Unfortunately this was a duplicate IP address. Again, thanks for your interest in my study. I reached out to him to see if he could take away the rejection. I wish requestors were smart enough to set to one per person. I do so many HITS I'm not sure which I have done many times.

Unfortunately, this is a common reason for requesters rejecting workers on this platform.

If you run the MTS script (or one of many other tracking scripts) it will keep track of HITs you have done and requesters you have worked for. Also when contacting a requester for that rejection reason, be sure to explain to them that unless it explicitly states in the instructions that the study cannot be taken more than once, the easiest way to make sure there are no retakes is by issuing a no-retake qualification to the worker. Also, explain that a lot of requesters will pilot studies on the platform and put multiple versions of what seems like the same study out to test different things out. This is not for the worker to know or keep track of. Sometimes a newer requester does not understand fully how the platform works and what a rejection can mean to a worker and that there are better alternatives than just issuing a rejection for something that they can ultimately control.

Most of the time the requesters are fairly understanding and will work with you and occasionally they will not. If
