when mine turned 13, it was like a light switched on and instantly she was horrible. So.... I turned off the internet for her via the router. I said it would stay off for a month - so super smart teen found an OLD one that we had and plugged it in after I went to bed - bypassing my parental controls).

Undeterred, I took the router out and put it in my extra you can't find it hiding place (next to the spare tire in the car, lol)

It stayed there for a month. She was so miserable (as was I, but. well, you know)
