11/18 - Waterlogged Wednesday!

I'm stressed today and it's cold out so the furnace is on, but not quite as warm as the cats prefer. I was mumbling to myself because 4 HIT's all came in at the same time, one was a timed start and the other 3 were 30 minute timers so I was multi-tasking. I hear a "brrrmewww" cat sound and look to the side and my little girl cat pushed her "rocking chair" (it's a broken cat scratcher that she likes to lay and rock in) onto the furnace vent in the floor and then fell off it.

Now she's super toasty warm and each time I start getting flustered she lets out her little "BrrrMEW" sounds. I swear, sometimes (very often) having a pet makes all the difference in the world between spiraling and smiling.

Working from home has been so amazing and one of the reasons is getting to have my cat to love on bc he loves on me right back.
