It's going to be too hot for me to turk today. It's going up to 95 (to quote our newspaper - that's wicked hot for new england!)! I have several computers, but my turking desktop is in my front room and it gets super hot. Even sitting outside will be better up in this room. The back of my house is okay with a fan (I don't mind heat. But it's already 80 degrees here (in this room) and it's only a bit before 10am.

It's going to be too hot for me to turk today. It's going up to 95 (to quote our newspaper - that's wicked hot for new england!)! I have several computers, but my turking desktop is in my front room and it gets super hot. Even sitting outside will be better up in this room. The back of my house is okay with a fan (I don't mind heat. But it's already 80 degrees here (in this room) and it's only a bit before 10am.

I am in Syracuse, NY, and we do not have air conditioning. I close the windows in the morning between 5:30 and 6:30 am and have a couple of fans going inside the house. Yesterday it got up to 88 inside, but so much cooler than outside. When the temp drops after the sun goes down, I open everything up with fans in the windows, going full blast.

If we start having heat waves all summer, we're going to have to spring for air conditioning.

we're in the same general area (Bratt VT). It's really just my front rooms that get this hot. I have a nice big backyard and we're close to several rivers if I really can't stand it.

Daughter is up in the attic, however. She has a window AC unit. But it works very hard just to stabilize things (attics are.....attics, lol)
