I hate when that happens.... Yesterday, I submitted a long hit and it was just sitting there. The counter was still counting and it was hung up on the submission process. I let it try and process for a minute or two, but then the timer was about to expire, so I hit refresh and hoped to try to resubmit it, but it restarted the survey! Ugh! So I searched trying to find the email for the requester to let them know what happened. While creating the email, I copied text from the title line to the subject line without realizing that I was going to lose the completion code that I had in memory. Since I didn't have the code saved anywhere but in the clipboard, it was gone, so I didn't send the email. One of the few times, I didn't save the code in a text file in case there was submission problem. Live and learn is the life of a turker.

Jan, If you have their email and the completion code, you can try emailing the requester and hope that they'll understand and compensate you for your data and time... In my case, I lost the code. D'oh!

On a happier note, I just this moment pulled 'the trigger' on the BEST coffee maker on the market! (I got a refurb. technivorm). My 'old' coffee maker (all of 2 years old) is leaking every morning. The technivorm should last forever
