What if your partner ducked out and the HIT terminated?

that im not sure about, but when i did mine (the one i was able to work on and submit) I did get notified that my partner left. So i just clicked on the link again and it restarted and found a new partner and was able to finish with them and submit. The requester is pretty responsive and quick to respond as well if you feel like asking just to make sure.

Don't bother. I emailed that requester almost 2 hours ago and still no response.

requester responded to me when i messaged them earlier this morning when the first time they posted and had an error. They were very quick to respond as well, took about 5 mins. I even emailed them a second time when i caught the hit again randomly, asking if it can be done a second time and they were quick to respond to that email as well.

normally i just hit the I symbol on the hits landing page on mturk (where you submit) and it gives me an option to contact requester.
Also as stated, that if you do get an error, clicking on the link again will restart the study. This is what i did and I was able to submit. Although the hit is still pending for me and the way the requester has their study set up suggests that they did not put anything in place to prevent you from preforming it again if you catch it (does not say you have completed it before) Making it a bit confusing. In their response to me about asking if you can do it a second time, all they said was that they prefer you only complete it once.... Not an indicator that they will reject you by restarting the survey if your partner drops out but also not an indicator that they wont either.

Here is hoping that we get approved for those of us that completed the hit by restarting the study when their partner dropped
