You know, you've probably been corresponding with a lone lab assistant who has a specific list of authorized responses. And made less today that your fifty cents.......some old advice: please keep in mind that requesters can block you, too. And with no identifiable reason. A good example was a Google requester who passed his block list around to other google requesters to use. People who never worked for the new requester were getting blocks--on top of other blocks....and then there was Oscar Smith(gone now) who would block people just because they accepted a HIT(for a captcha), but returned it....Ah, the good ol' days!

This is the first day since I restarted doing this that I can't find a single piece of work to do.

No bounding boxes, no swimming pools, no “which shoe do you prefer”… it seems like these days it's either surveys, or transcribing receipts... and none of the good batch work even exists anymore.

I imagine there are people that wander around the Noah office waiting for their experiments to complete and never check to see why they haven't yet. Someone will ask "How's that chatbot experiment going, Ken?" and Ken will reply "Not that great, Steve. I put it out in May and haven't gotten any responses on it yet. I just don't get it." Then Steve replies "Well, good luck!"

This conversation takes place eighteen times a day amongst every employee in the company. No one checks to see if the experiments work. They just sit there and await responses. Month after month after month....
