Hello dear MTurk friends,
I've only been part of your community for less than a month, but I already feel welcome and at home. Thank you for that. I smiled seeing the hopeful 2022 posts, because I desperately want to feel that hope too.

2021 ended with me learning of the deaths of two people who were important to me... and then I phoned my significant other and he had recently learned of multiple deaths of friends, and his brother had a colleague fall to his death on the job.
That seemed a sad, fitting end to a year that has been difficult in more ways than I can count.

I have two of my three cats snuggling with me as I write this - the other is cuddled in bed, probably wondering why I am working on my computer early in the morning (naw, he knows I work odd hours!), and we all could use a mahhhhvelous 2022!
