i always wonder on the studies that use " have you ever been bitten by a shark" as an attention check, if the one random person who actually was bitten by a shark that selects it will get screened out or rejected. Then have to contact the requester and ...? prove to them that you were bit by a shark?

if it were me id just say I was bitten by Baby Shark do do do do

yea, I once got rejected b/c I speak Estonian (my mother and her parents were born there, so I grew up speaking it) I guess they figured no one here speaks it anymore.
I really wish they'd stick to questions like have you ever been to Mars or suffered a fatal heart attack while watching TV, stuff that obviously has one right answer

that would piss me off. I get they want to make sure your paying attention, but like you said they need to stick to AC's that someone cant actually ever do. like survive a fatal heart attack.
