ca$h FriDay is merely a route to remind us to keep cash on hand because at some point if things don't slow down our bank accounts will be cut off from us. want a pizza? your social score could say no, you can't have it. or amazon's social score or prolific's.

I just wanted to know if the site is going down.

My gf's an MD, I'm a retired paramedic/firefighter, used to own a restaurant, still cook for people for pay. We have a garden, can preserve food, can gut a deer, have a full shop of manual tools.
You know how to deliver a baby? Sew up a bleeding liver? Splint a broken arm? Treat heatstroke? We have 60 years of experience between doing those things and more.
Whatever the currency happens to be, people will pay us for that knowledge and know-how. My gf's dad was a dentist in the depression - people paid him in chickens. If you know what to do, chickens are fine in currency.

So we'll be fine if life turns into some dystopian nightmare, regardless of whether Prolific pays out or not
