Description: We are looking for participants who have never read "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" by Agatha
Christie. We have developed a two-part survey to assess what participants can predict
about different parts of a book, without having a memory of it.

This is the first part of the survey which asks a few questions about your background. If your background matches the requirements for the second part of the survey, we will reach out with the opportunity to participate in the second part of the survey within a week.

We invite those of you who have never read or listened to the book to participate in this
survey. This survey has ethics approval from our university. The first page of the survey contains
legal/researcher information, consent form, and survey info. If you have any questions or
comments, please email us (at the email address below).
You will be compensated $12/hour for your participation.

The project is being conducted by Drs. Mariya Toneva, Uri Hasson, and Ken Norman at the
