there was a big dropoff in 2018 or so when they raised they rates. But the last few months have been truly awful. Seems like a lot have moved other platforms or like OneSpace opened their own.. Mturk is not even bringing in beer money these days.

I just got back into mturk a week ago after taking a good part of last year off. Before that i was doing mturk basically full time since 2018. I have definitely noticed a drop in work/requesters since last summer but so far im still making my goal ($20/day) or above. But it is taking me 1/3 to 1/2 as much time longer than before. And even as late as last summer i coulld easily make 40-50 a day if i wanted to. Now, it seems like that is no longer feasible. But thats just my two cents.

For some reason, I did well today. Hit the 50$ mark, but 40$ of that is Prolific....

For me it started going downhill fast starting last Sept or so, i have pretty much checked out of Mturk but still hang around scraping up the few bucks that's leftover because i have to be on the internet anyway for the few small online business i'm running. It has gotten progressively worse though for those that's comparing it now to the golden days. For those that just signed up it's still easy to make $10-15 a day but compared to what we use to earn it's now a dead platform and just time to move on for most. Most of the og's would agree with this
