hmmm ... the trolley moral problem

What if you are in an AI driven car and AI decides it's better to kill you that the five people ahead? How you gonna feel?

Just a warning to avoid ZeppMTurk. I see that they have some HITs back up. They are unscrupulous mass rejectors. Please be careful. I submitted 15 HITs from a German language batch a few months ago that were all rejected. They were extremely simple transcription tasks with clear audio. All were performed correctly. Some lame explanation was given for the rejections. At that point, their acceptance rate was 0%. It's up to 78% now, but I still wouldn't trust them. They did not respond to messages and did not overturn. Please be careful.

I know things move fast on MTurk, but I literally clicked on the qual link within a second or two of it appearing here and got the following message in the test:

Qualification Test Closed
This task is currently not accepting new workers. Thank you for your interest.
Do not submit this test, or you may be unable to retake it when the task reopens.
Please select "Cancel" below, or close this window.


Did the spots go that fast, or are these empty quals? I know we're not supposed to talk about the contents of quals, but that doesn't appear to apply here. I think I may have messed up by not hitting cancel before it timed out, so it might not matter for me anymore...
