You can turn live update on and off and turn post jump on and off in your preferences.

Quark is my favorite, but it confuses me for some reason, and messages aren't lighting up under anti-quark.

I think post jump is handy when I want to keep and eye in the forum in one window but work on something else in another window. But that's about the only time I like it.

Yeah. At one point, Crowdsource used to give quals if you *looked* at one of their HITs. Just view it and they'd capture your worker ID and send you a qual. But that's not part of the MTurk system. That was something they built themselves into their HITs.
