Thanks. Yeah, I saw the thread on reddit and the site was up on flippa. It's kind of weird because I always thought everything was fine. All the mods were nice and from my pov, everything was gravy. Kind of crazy actually. It's like a couple that's going through a breakup. In public, it's a show but behind closed doors...

Yup, that's pretty much it. The mods are awesome and so are the users, for the most part.
It was purely a problem with the ownership and how the site was being managed, but it did all happen in private messages and text messages so users were unaware of what was happening. We finally reached a breaking point and left. I really have no idea what happened after that point, but for some reason Zingy decided to sell it to an unknown person rather than continue the site with new mods, or sell it to someone with an actual interest in turkers and turking. I think that part will probably always remain a mystery.
