Is this for a school project kind of thing or for Turkopticon itself? It would help if you clarified and probably influence whether or not people decide to participate.

You're right, I probably should have been more specific and more thoughtful. I am a mod on TO (I go by awdrf on there.), and lately we noticed there were a lot of complaints. In order to improve, and address complaints/concerns, we wanted to see what majority felt the issues were, and what they thought we could do to fix them. It is also an attempt to search for, and find volunteers to help with some more of the back-end things, so everything does not need to be done by the two admins with very limited time.

This is specifically to help improve TO as a whole, and is going to serve no other benefit.

Thank you for bringing up the concern though, I probably wouldn't have elaborated if nobody said anything. I can be a space cadet sometimes.

So I'll just add for elucidation: There should be a survey coming to the email you signed for TO as. We'd greatly appreciate if you could take a few minutes to fill it out so we can see what everyone would like to see more of / less of. It shouldn't take but 3-4 minutes. Thank you to all who would consider filling it out.

I can tell you without a doubt that I would have also wanted to press charges in the same situation. Being on the receiving end of a child welfare investigation is some scary shit, ESPECIALLY if you've done nothing wrong.

I can understand that, but I would guess that the vast majority of false child neglect accusations come from people with motivations like ex spouses, spiteful neighbors, etc, and not so much from random overly dramatic pizza guys.

maybe he didn't get a tip and wanted to teach the guy a lesson.. If he's a broke highschool/college kid with no clue how the world works, didn't get a tip and saw an oppourtunity to fuck with the guy I could see him taking it not understanding just how completely fucked up that is. If that happened to me you bet your fucking ass I'd be talking to a lawyer. Havin CPS at your door is no joke.
