Most people treat their laptops like shit and then wonder why they die so fast, but some laptops are poorly designed.

Make sure it has plenty of airflow... don't use it in bed or things like that... the vents have to be free and clear at all times.. If it is still overheating buy a laptop cooling pad.

It's a computer I got in 09 so honestly it might just be getting old, I used to own a laptop fan but that actually broke. I cleared all the vents/fans yesterday with some compressed air but the touchpad is still getting super hot. I think i might just get another desk fan, I don't want to lose my laptop. Without it I can't get any money
