How frustrating. I was in the middle of that voting experiment when there was some sort of server error.
I emailed the requester, hopefully he gets back to me before the Hit expires.

Did you ever hear back from him? It kicked me out a few minutes ago and I emailed but I'm not sure if I should just suck it up as a wasted 20 minutes or submit it with a note and hope he feels sorry for me. I saw on TO someone had said that he got back to them and said he would approve the HIT. Makes me wonder if I should just submit and cross my fingers.

Plus, you had to sync HITs before today's HITs were acurate. This isn't true with KD(new name). I just need to get a TO script and an export script and I'm golden. Goodbye TA. We never really liked you.

I didn't have to start syncing until yesterday, but yeah, I'm definitely not going to keep it if it keeps up.

TurkAssist is also creepy because the developers refuse to say who they are. So who knows what they're doing with your information or how they're using it. I'm not comfortable with that.

That along with how obfuscated the code is, while I doubt it is malicious, is its a bit sketchy imo.

It's so poorly written that it's probably written by the brain trust at AMT, so they can cull more data from me.

This is actually my theory. I emailed the TurkAssist email address sometime back asking who the developers were and within a few minutes, got followed by 2 app developers at AWS on Twitter (my Twitter username is in my email signature).

I didn't get to make any votes, but made it through the last 15 rounds by hitting back and then submitting vote each time error popped up. At the end it gave a code. I still wrote the requester a message about it.

I've made the switch and I'm going to force myself to get used to it. Things I miss from TA; HIT Export from the preview/working HIT window, Dollar amount of pending HITs separated by AA(24hrs, 7, 14, and 30days). I'm not ungrateful. Just a wishlist. Thanks @Kadauchi for all the hard work and help.
