I got up, went into the kitchen, made coffee, went to get the milk and saw that the fridge was OPEN (as in all night).
Opened the door wider and saw that it was open because the pot (as in single pot) I had asked dd to wash last night was in the fridge with leftover flotsam(!) that required (oh, shudder) that she scrape it off before washing it.

The handle was faced towards the fridge door (thus keeping it open all night).

The milk was tepid .
