So I've never really done no TO hits because I've always been scared of being scammed/rejections. But now I have enough HITs submitted that it won't impact my rating. Should I still not bother with them or should I take the risk?

Yes, you'll need to set it up so when you clear your history/cache it doesn't clear the local storage for mturk.

depends. If it's a survey, go ahead. If it's a batch, test the waters a bit -if you can.
some clues to look for are the AA time (the quicker the better - and the more willing I am to take a risk).
Don't go below 98% approval (if there is a mass rejection), unless you don't care and like to live dangerously.
