Wow. Just put HS on a timer and set to make a noise when a new HIT comes up...first time I've done that and I've already grabbed 3 $1+ surveys that I doubt I would have been able to before.

So I've never really done no TO hits because I've always been scared of being scammed/rejections. But now I have enough HITs submitted that it won't impact my rating. Should I still not bother with them or should I take the risk?

If they are from educational sources they are usually fine. But $10 and up surveys with no TO could represent a repeat of yesterday and we really need to be careful. Many high $ writing HITs are already assigned to chosen people and that's why you will see mTurk numbers assigned to them when you see the legitimate ones up with quals.

They didn't but it still looks wrong.

If anyone got the Attention & Memory Lab survey for $4.50, it only took me 6 minutes. It has a terrible TO but from previous surveys that were supposedly really long.

If you have a normal job alongside mturk 100% go to an accountant if you aren't super savvy doing your own taxes, the amount of deductions you can take is absurd.

Im just pretty sure I already have to pay over $1200 so its gonna be hard enough to pay that.
