I actually did send "faxes" through efax this year. Our stupid old doctor's office didn't have email or a scanner. But I can't bring myself to do any HITs where I have to talk to actual people with my actual voice (my buddy Jamelio clearly excepted).

We still send faxes all the time! For legal purposes much of our paperwork has to be printed with original signatures. It's much faster to fax a 30 page legal document then scan it all in and email.
