My GFs and I have been trying to do an out of town (within driving distance) a month lately. It's been hella fun. We're looking at Louis CK in Nashville for July. I really value my girlfriends much more now than I did in my teens.

Maybe because I have a husband and 3 boys now... I appreciate the estrogen even though I always felt more comfortable with men. Now I appreciate women more.

The older I get, the more I realize how important girlfriends are. Don't get me wrong, I love guys and I have a lot of fun with them. It's just female friendships offer something unique.
