I don't plan to live in NYC ever. IT's waaay to expensive. Worst I'd do is Long Island maybe, if I was lucky. But I'm going back for my PhD with CUNY if I get in. I really, really need to be back home. I miss it far too much.

I have lots of family in Long Island . Good luck, I completely understand wanting to be back home. In my case, I just need to get out of the south, haha.

SAME. I had to move to the hell swamp that exists above Florida. I hate the south, it's always hot. I miss the cold and the fact that it's still not super hot here is part of the reason I'm DYING to be back. I finish my bachelor's in spring, so close to being able to LEAVE.
