Have you ever done any hits for them? If not it might just be an error in their coding.

I walk the perimeter of the house with it (like some people like to do with salt/evil spirits, lol). Then I put it behind the backsplash in the kitchen, windowsills. try and track down where they're coming from.

That's... logical.

I also will keep a garlic bulb or 2 on the kitchen counters. That seems to repel them. They're all wrapped up in their papers so they don't stink (to me, anyway.)

in actuality, perimeters, anywhere you store food on the edges, along your sink, just be careful. They're coming from outside somewhere.
