Attempting to make my self finish reading Sironia, Texas. Story sucks but I feel like I have to finish it now.
I used to do that all the time. I've trained myself mostly to just quit a book because it holds up my whole list when I never feel like reading my current book.

Doesn't anyone read anymore? :p I just started "Old Man's War" by John Scalzi. I'm also reading Stephen King short stories at night, as well as the short story compilation "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino.

I'm almost done with Stephen King's _Carrie_. I just started reading his books. maybe i'll go in the order he wrote them, since Carrie was his first. that might be interesting but hard to do if I have to find them all in the library.

I love many of his and used to miss class when I was younger staying up all night to read them. Big fan of The Dark Tower series in particular!

A friend and I started this project a few years ago (I'd read them all but she hadn't) and it was a lot of fun. It's always better with a reading buddy.

I spent two decades obsessed with this series. You just reminded me of something to post in the craft thread!

I have to post about it because it's so good -- I'm reading Ruth Goodman's 'How to be a Tudor' - which if you've seen Tudor Monastery farm, it's an even more detailed look at Tudor life (which I'm not even interested in, really, but this is fascinating!). I almost entirely read fiction, but this is very readable, and her joy in the subject comes through the page. It's awesome :)

I read a lot, but I think I have early onset of alzheimer's because i keep forgetting that io read a book until I am half way through it. On the plus side I can go back and read all my favorites and love them again just like i did the first time.

There's a great book about that! It was a self-published title called Still Alice by Lisa Genova, and it apparently recently got a movie adaption, which is pretty unheard of for self-publishing. (The early onset Alzheimer's, I mean. I doubt you have it. Hope not <3)

The 5th Wave: The Fifth Wave Series, Book 1 by Rick Yancey was just automatically checked out for me at my local digital library. Its been in my queue so long i don't even remember putting it there. (I often go through a list of recommended reads and add them to my library queue in large numbers at one time). Is it worth a read?

You received it, so yes. Totally worth it. (I acutally haven't read it, but it sounds cool. If you don't like it, you can always put it back)

I love the Little House series, not even ashamed to admit that I still read kids books once in a while. I re-read Harry Potter this past winter and just got done with the Hunger Games. I have no idea what to read next. I think I fell into a book hole!

You will LOVE the Septimus Heap series then! It's a great series by Angie Sage, it's JUST now finishing up, and the books are gorgeous. I love it so much because it's got all the magic of HP but with even more in-depth story and they're wonderful.

I'll give em a try once I have some money, I can't read it for free on kindle unlimited. :(
