I was pretty teary on my first rejection - and to be honest, I'm careful about that. But I think that some rejections are a good thing - IF you have enough padding, rejections just mean that you are willing to take some calculated risks. Most risks on mturk turn out okay - so getting rejections means that you are looking and trying to find hits and experimenting a bit.
Of course, that kind of thing comes with padding - get your numbers up. My last rejection was with a sketchy requester and when I got it, it moved my percentage down to.......well, it didn't move it at all. I'm still very firmly at a 'fake' 100%. So, I looked at the rejection and thought - well, they're just a jerk - and then moved along.
