Regarding the conversation this morning about 411richmond blocking someone after they asked to be removed from their mailing list, and the worker thinking they hadn't ever done any of their HITs:

Requesters do not have your direct email address unless you either gave it to them in a form at some point or contacted them through MTurk. And requesters can't contact workers through the MTurk messaging system (which only requires the worker's ID) unless the worker has submitted at least one of that requester's HITs before. Perhaps the worker's HitDB is incomplete, a very common problem, especially for your first few days when people are more likely to try receipt HITs.
