I only buy Sleepytime. I'm kind of a bore that way... tried to branch out, rooibos tea, green tea (which gives me headaches)... and honestly I just want Sleepytime tea from Celestial Seasonings. It's just the best.

Lipton... Mmmm. Best pitcher of sweet tea there is. Add a couple of earl grey bags to it and it's even better.

I've been having luck with GABA, Kava Kava. I sometimes rotate in valerian, Lemon Balm, and melatonin (but that gives me crazy dreams, and I feel a little hung over in the morning). Benadryl and a 2 oz shot of vodka if I have to force it.

This has been your insomniacs update..... :coffeepc::flushed::fearscream::dizzysymbol:

Vodka for me. Melatonin doesn't make me sleep and I get trails like in Donnie Darko from it. Doc prescribed ambien but I only take it rarely, even though he's been writing me 30 a month for 6 months. I don't like to rely on "sleep meds." But ambien may be easier on the liver. I need to research further. With ambien, you have to want to sleep. If you want it, it will happen. For whatever reason, I fight sleep at all costs except for naps.
