Realistically, I'd move to queens.
brooklyn is like the second most expensive borough now, isnt it?
Flushing is cool. I go there every once in a while for dim sum.

with the wind in mind, did you change your mind?
Honestly I have no clue. I'm waiting on my friend to move here for college (which is soon) so I can move out of my house and look for a place together. I'll let you know how the prices are but I think any borough should be expensive. Common prices would be 600 - 800 if sharing with others.

Hmmmmm....well, I ordered pants from zara and it's been sitting in their store at Soho for awhile so I might as well go out and pick it up.

I don't know much about jquery but right off the bat I see you're missing the $(), etc. Don't you need that to morph the html into jquery objects?
it's javascript. the code works, but it can't access elements outside the iframe. the script has to change focus. I tried .blur() on the textbox. that did pull focus from there but it didn't then focus on the outer part of the hit page.

My bad. Why are you using that instead of jquery? Just curious. jquery seems to be easier for parsing out buttons/etc from forms.

There's no need to apologize at all. I think most prefer it when HITs that have already been vetted are posted.
Probably. It just means sometimes a few minutes late might mean they're gone, which could be a problem. I just don't wanna give someone a survey not worth their time, cus I know how upset that makes me.

Per Alabama's new food stamp policy I need to provide a phone number AND signature ot prove my hours worked on mTurk o_O

edit: "IT doesn't work that way." Was apparently not a valid response.
So you're self-employed but need to provide contact info for an employer?

I'm used to javascript. I do add in jquery to learn new things sometimes. if anyone knows a jquery way to focus on the return hit button for that kind of hit, that would be great too. all I'm doing is trying to attach return hit button to a keydown. it seems like there is probably a straightforward way of doing this by pulling focus from the iframe to the outer part of the hit page. but google doesn't know either.

Sounds like you provide your own phone number and signature then!
Hmm... This makes sense.

So you're self-employed but need to provide contact info for an employer?
Wait... when you word it that way it makes no sense. But yeah that's what it says.
Log in or register now. to view Spoiler content!

I've already sent them a letter and called them telling them it's not how this works but they won't listen. At least now I don't have to worry about stopping when I hit some random amount they pick out of their butts now and can just work everyday!

Info in page source of return button that I found:

<img src="/media/return_hit.gif" alt="" border="0" width="82" height="22">
Could you use this info to do something like?

$("img[src=/media/return_hit.gif']").focus();
I'm not sure if that's correct being as I'm not familiar with the syntax/jquery offhand
