I was going to ask if you were going to move to NYC. If you're making bank, then go for manhattan. If you're fluent in an asian language then flushing in queens could work. Brooklyn isn't too bad I guess.

We used to have the ability to reimburse requesters, but Amazon took that away from us. I have been asked to give money back since then (and before). As Jaded says, PayPal or mail a check are the only options. One requester made a major mistake with the decimal point, could not get any help from Amazon and didn't get much back from workers. He sent a goodbye email to all of us, saying it was his first and last task on AMT.
